We welcomed officers with the Royal Norwegian Home Guard and Minnesota National Guard to the NOREX Reception on Tuesday February 19, 2019. More commonly known as the NOREX Troop Exchange, this program, in its 46 th year, brings around 100 Norwegian Home Guard soldiers to Camp Ripley for two weeks of winter training. At the same time, a similar number of Minnesota National Guard soldiers, are in Norway doing training in the Norwegian mountains. A big day at Norway House! And a filling one! A delegation of six high-end Norwegian food and beverage companies visited Minneapolis this week to discuss American market potential and opportunities. Fruitful Business Relationships The partnership between NACC and IKT Telemark has been going on for eighteen months, and has now been formalized through IKT Telemark’s membership in NACC. President of the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce – Upper Midwest Chapter (NACC – UMC) Ole Koppang (left) welcomes IKT Telemark as a member.
